HOW MALT FLOUR IS MADE?
The malt is processed through a flour mill. There are different types of mills - roller mills and pin mills for example - each producing different grades of flours. We produce both light and dark flours. The dark flours are produced from malt which has been roasted after the malting process.
The malt flour is further sifted to degrees of refinement.

The dark flours are produced from malt which has been roasted after the malting process. They are used for flavour, texture improvement and appearance enhancement in all areas of the food industry. The malt flour is further shifted to degrees of refinement.

Light colored malt flours offer varying degrees of alpha amylase, protein and malt flavours.
